Open Top French Shopping Basket - Natural

There are over 500 different species of grass in Madagascar, this basket is hand made from the native Bosaka grass.

It grows in the wild, is excellent for weaving and can be dyed to provide a variety of colours. This basket is undyed and comes in it's natural green finish. (We do have coloured versions of the same basket, please see our other listings.)

This basket is woven with Bosaka grass and trimmed with raffia at it's base and top.

It has short Leather Handles and corner protectors

Inside is a small pocket attached to the side of the basket.

The basket is open topped for easy access. The top can be drawn together with a loop and toggle.
